We had an incredible week meeting with concerned citizens outraged at out of touch incumbents from Lansdowne, Catonsville, Elkridge and Columbia at Happy Hour at Loafers Lounge on Wednesday, Elkridge Festival and Car Show and Steve Whisler Cow Plop on Saturday (wife Kim won $250.00 when ‘Daisey’ hit ¼ of her square.) Sign waved with very good citizen response at Wilkens Avenue and Maiden Choice Lane and at I-95/Rolling Road with Al Nalley and Dave Augenbaugh in 12A and with Chuck and Jeanne Arnold at Broken Lane Parkway on Friday evening in 12B. Volunteers are needed for sign waiving and for planned door to door canvassing. On Friday August 20th I Interviewed at Patuxent Publishing with Senator Ed Kasemeyer and stood up for free private enterprise and personal liberties and reliance on WE THE PEOPLE not Government as being the way to get out of this recession and restoring fiscal sanity in Annapolis. Government has become our master and we the slaves. We the People should not look to Government to solve all our problems but we Americans should take the power back and work together through free private enterprise and exercise of Constitutional liberties to make life better. Government should be our partner not our Master.
Enjoyed meeting Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Brian Murphy at Elkridge Picnic and shared my response to the call for running and reminded him that when Governor Bob Ehrlich’s job was not to make the law but rather as Executive to execute it. It will be my job as the next Senator in District 12 to work to restore a ‘culture of life’ in Annapolis. Further, it is not good enough just to fight for life, we need to win seats in the Senate and House of Delegates so that we can actually change existing law to protect life.
On Sunday, August 22, Kim and I had my daughter’s future in-laws over to celebrate Scott and Sarah’s upcoming wedding on September 4th. Happy 24th Birthday to my son Patrick (08/22/10), and congratulations to him (and thank God) on his being hired full-time to teach English composition in the Mt. St. Joseph DePaul program, coach volleyball and ice hockey and play guitar for music ministry.

Many thanks to all the supporters that attended and walked in the parade. We appreciate your support.
